Me: I mean... that's basically what Picard is doing during his Holodeck times.
YS: No, it totally is. OMG, imagine if TNG were written now. They'd totally have a holodeck episode with Downton Abbey! Thomas would take over, steal Geordi's visor, and then try to have sex with Data. Picard would be too busy drinking port with Lord Grantham to notice. Riker and Matthew would bond over how everything in their lives goes right and they hate it.

YS: YES.
Me: Sybil would fall in love with Wesley and Branson would be pissed. But he'd still love Wesley and want to be friends with him.
