to put it another way/i would give all metaphors
in return for one word/ drawn out of my breast like a rib
for one word/ contained within the boundaries/ of my skin
but apparently this is not possible
and just to say - i love
i run around like mad/ picking up handfuls of birds
and my tenderness/ which after all is not made of water
asks the water for a face/ and anger/ different from fire
borrows from it/ a loquacious tongue

Cannot wait to see Evita on Broadway… ahh college memories. (via BroadwayWorld)

I asked one of my friends if she wanted to rush this with me and immediately regretted it because — as my reaction to this picture proves — I am almost definitely going to cry through the whole damn thing (which isn’t really a problem; it’s more like I’ve wanted to see this on stage for over half my life, and there aren’t very many people in the world with whom I want to share my first experience of it).

Whoever came up with the idea to use ‘The Truth Is She Never Left You’ as a tagline is a life ruiner who ruins lives.

:evita: :oh my heart: :brb dying of anticipation: :elena roger: :i just have a lot of feelings: :this entire cast may well be the death of me: :no YOU'RE crying: :crying over theatre: a life:

Mom: ‘Oh man, [your sister] has been dancing around for two days singing ‘Do You Hear the People Sing’ and ‘A New Argentina’, because apparently that’s her entire context for any kind of revolution.’
